September 28th, 2010 KAYLIE TURNS 2

Today is Kaylie's 2nd Birthday!!
we went to the park as requested and played very long and hard.........love going down the slide and swinging!!
Getting ready for her bday party on Saturday at 3pm. It will be so much fun!!

Tanner's Orchard

We went to Tanner's Orchard today 9/7/2010. It was daddy's first time ever. He loved all the food samples and his favorite was definitely the homemade apple cider.
I enjoyed playing on the playground with Kaylie and seeing the billy goats crossing the bridge.

Wildlife Prairie Park

Tuesday we all loaded up the suv and headed to Wildlife Prairie park for sandwiches and a fun day of sight seeing. The kids loved seeing the animals. Kaylie especially love the "cows" or Buffalo walking around and swimming in the pond.












It was such a warm day but we kept everyone cool by pouring loads of cool water on them and staying in the shade.
AHHH it was peaceful to just slow down and walk a bit without constantly having to powerwalk through my day.

I am aware that I need to add more updated photos Samantha & Nancy!! I will try to get time to upload them sometime this week hopefully when I don't have a class or assignment due after I get off work ok.

Just wanted to update. Chris has a new job opportunity on May 8th, which will be his 90 days at Miller Welding as a parts cleaner. His new position won't take such a toll on his back and hands like the grinding does. He may even get a dollor more. Hopefully he does because I still can't find a job and I need one desperately to pay all our bills and buy the kids stuff. So if you could continue to pray for us and we hope all is well with you and your families.

Hey everyone! Just updating....not really much new here. Chris is working and I'm home with the kids as usual. We're trying to go to Brookfield zoo this June. Hopefully we'll get lots of pictures and Kaylie will like it more than the Peoria zoo. I'm planning Chris's yearly ritual--every year him and Max and his dad and uncles go on a 3 day fishing trip to Johnson lake. Its like a 6 year tradition. I hate being all alone while he's gone...but he always has so much fun. Why don't we ever have any girls things or anything ever? Oh yeah cuz we're in charge of watching the kids 24/7. Not that I don't mind being mommy, just hate that I don't have any friends or anything to ever go do. Maybe we need to start something...hmm....I know we're all very busy so it prolly wouldn't work out. Well I have some pics to add.

March Update

Well praise the Lord that Chris has a job and has currently been working for a month now! I'm so excited! Hopefully he'll stay at this one and the economy keeps them busy, perhaps even throw him some extra overtime till I can get a second-shift job.
Kaylie & Austin both have a doctor's appointment for their shots and wellness visit on April 9th. I'm so excited to see just how big he's gotten. I'm already dressing him in 6-9 month onesies! He's getting a lil chubby in his cheeks too!
We're doing pretty good.
Super excited about spring! Chris' bro has a double stroller that he's giving us for the kids so I can take them on walks and to the park while Chris has the car at work. We've been pretty busy with getting Austin on a good sleeping schedule at night and work for Chris and Kaylie may have to start potty-training early. I'm sick of her stripping down and before I can catch her, peeing or pooping on the floor. so gross! Parenthood is no easy task!
